Elizabeth Woolridge Grant (New York, 1985), stage name Lana Del Rey, is a singer and songwriter whose style has been defined by critics as 'Vintage' given the theme and style of her lyrics, which deal with the tragic romance with melancholic touches and references to pop culture from the 50s and 60s.
After an early adolescence marked by his addiction to alcohol, completely overcome after going through a private boarding school in Connecticut, at the age of 18 he returned to New York and, after receiving guitar lessons from his uncle, began to perform in clubs in the county of Brooklyn, while studying Metaphysics at Fordham University.

Her first album came out under the name Lana del Rey in 2010, and contains songs like Yayo and Kill Kill. This album was first released by the singer with the record company 5 Points Records, later removing it from the market and buying the rights back, since the record company did not have the ability to finance it. After changing her stage name to Lana del Rey, and signing a contract with Interscope Records and Polydor Records, the singer released Born to Die (2012), considered to be the singer's true debut album. The album was released with the singles Video Games and Born to Die, followed by the songs Blue Jeans, Summertime Sadness, National Anthem and Dark Paradise. Lana del Rey's third album is Paradise (2012), an extended version of her first album. In this new release they highlighted their promotional single, Ride, and songs like Blue Velvet, Bel Air and Burning Desire.
Ultraviolence (2014) was Lana del Rey's fourth release, a new production that shows sounds inclined towards guitar composition. This album was released with five singles, West Coast, Brooklyn Baby, Black Beauty, Shades of Cool and Ultraviolence. By the time of the release, the singer had collaborated on the song Once Upon a Dream (2014) for the film Maleficent. In September 2015, Honeymoon (2015), Lana del Rey's fifth album, was released, featuring songs such as High by the Beach and Music to Watch the Boys To.
Lana's fifth album is Lust for Life (2017), an album that includes collaborations with ASAP Rocky in Summer Bummer, Stevie Nicks and other artists. It was released with the promotional single, Love, followed by a collaboration song with The Weekend, Lust for Life. Norman Fucking Rockwell! (2019) is Lana's sixth album, released with a self-titled song, followed by the release of the singles Mariners Apartment Complex and Venice Bitch. From this album, the song Hope Is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman Like Me to Have – but I Have It stands out.
Lana del Rey's latest release has been Violet Bent Backwards over the Grass (2020) a book of poetry released with an album narrated by the singer, promoted with the narrated poem, LA Who Am I to Love You. In May 2020, Lana confirmed that her next album will be out on September 5, 2020, titled Chemtrails over the Country Club (2021).
The latest update we have on Lana's music is that she will be collaborating with Taylor Swift: "Snow on the beach" on her upcoming album "Midnights" which is due out on October 21, 2022.

Lana del Rey has won 2 Brit Awards, 2 MTV Europe Music Awards, a Satellite Award for her song Young and Beautiful (2013) and 9 GAFFA Awards. The singer is a six-time Grammy Award nominee, and was nominated once for a Golden Globe Award for her song Big Eyes (2014), part of the official soundtrack for Tim Burton's film Big Eyes (2014).
